Who wants to follow along as I cold pitch to brands?

See, I’ve been fairly lucky: for several years now, a variety of legit and non-legit brands have offered to pay me money in exchange for writing about them on my blog.

Which is great…

… When the brand is legit… and aligned.

But not gonna lie… waiting for someone else to do something for you first is an awful way to live life.

Imagine if you asked out your crush in high school instead of waiting for her to ask you out first. You wouldn’t be going to bed wondering what if…

Not relatable?

Well, look at you!

Anyway.

My point is, I’ve decided to take control of my own pitching game. And yes, I’ll likely make a fool out of myself. I’ve never been good at approaching people (yes, I’m that person who waits for my crush to ask me out and ends up with sleepless nights and incessant what-ifs)…

But maybe it’s time to change that…
